Alright, finally! Here comes my attempt:

It actually flies pretty well, but it's quite fast and turns too slowly for indoor use.
Sadly, I don't have any big enough open area to try it out. Even our office is too cluttered with stuff. Just when I started to get a hang of it, I broke off a motor from the hot glue joint, so I gotta fix that and try again.

Edit: motor fixed and I actually managed to fly it around a bit. Slow steering caused the crash again :-(

I also already crashed it so much that the paper is so crumbled/soft it doesn't hold straight, thus doesn't fly well at all. I didn't have a chance to try outdoors as the weather here in Finland so bad for flying anything.

I started working on a different design though. I'd like to make it slower and more suitable for indoors. The biggest issue was the huge turning radius combined with quite high speed. Let's see if I succeed there Big Grin

Oscar:

I just found this great tutorial! It just so happens I have a nano quad with a blown motor that I can try this with!

If you still have a working one around, you might try taping the right stick of the controller in the up position to get more throttle power out of it.
