What kind of flying do you want to do? Do you want indoor or outdoor? Race or freestyle. Do you want to build or just fly right out of the box?

The Storm Bug 3 looks to have pretty good components. I have a similar frame made by FlexRC called the Owl. I have to said that the thin protective carbon fiber is not that durable. Minor crash and bumps are ok. But don't be fool that a hard crash it can survive. But for the most part, the majority of drone will sustain some damage with hard crashes. If you want more protection from crashes, there are better option.

Anyways, maybe if you give us more details of what you want to do, it would help. Otherwise, there is nothing wrong with the Storm Bug 3.

Sorry so vague. I'm wanting to just freestyle im thinking and flying mostly outside. Was just starting with a smaller drone rtf so i can get up in air quickly and then I will look for 5 inch for freestyle that I would build.

If you want to go micros then the betafpv various quads are great. They are pretty durable with crashes and plenty powerful on 2S to fly outside.

A little bigger, I recommend the Tinkhawk series. Some have props guides and other don't. Both the above are very reasonable, $370 for a starter quad is a little too much in my opinion.

The Geprc cine series are also popular in the 2-3 inches. They have ducts for props protection. I personally never owe these. They are a little bit more.

You also have toothpick style quad. Very small but blazing fast. Might be too fast and fragile.

These are just my recommendations. Hopefully others will chime in.

as you dont know where to go and there are a lot possibilities to get pleasure.

i would suggest a 4inch pnp like a: geprc dolphin, emax hawk 4, betafpv x-knight 4, betafpv twig mutant 4
for a 3inch i would reccomand a diatone about value for money (i dont know the number, there are a few versions)

these would be options to get sure you dont miss any performence but if you like to do perfect video footage with a gopro you will need to get some decreasements in performence or step to 5inch. i dont know 5inch freestyle pnps enough to reccomend one, i like the look of the diatone tyrant 2018 xD

regardless of video footage lightweight micro quad from 2“ to 3“ props shouldnt becmissed anyway.

there are a cheapish or inexpensive options like the happymodel saifly or the happymodel larva. i had a lot pleasure with my larva. there are more highend options like a diatone gtb-series or an hglrc „parrot something“

as you still have a lot of rc models, you could probably be disapointed/not that much fastinated on a whoop ;-) but they are huge fun a happymodel mobula6 or a betafpv meteor, some speedy 1s whoops for tiny places.

They will. Fat Shark goggles will work without any issues.

However, your Frsky radio will work if the drone has a discrete Frsky receiver. Note that these smaller "tiny whoops" with Frsky receivers integrated into their flight controllers are problematic with Frsky radios (long story short - not licensed so Frsky is trying to block them out). If you want a radio that just works with mostly everything, consider a Jumper radio. They have no problem binding to basically anything.

Why the Attitude? I know we didn't discuss goggles, but HDO or ORQA are the way to go. Nothing wrong with Attitude, but the FOV is quite small.
