Adding ERLS to TH2F
#1
Hello All,

So i've purchased the ELRS Lite Reciever 2.4g and Mainboard for the BetaFPV Lite Radio SE which i'll switch out. I'm not concerned so much about the radio as its pretty much, plug and play, and I'm fairly confident I can add the reciever without too much hassle to the TH2F. And there are plenty of youtube videos doing a similar thing.

Has anyone here done this to their smaller whoop style quads, and what advice, knowledge would you share while doing it? I would love to hear from you all, and hopefully learn as much as I can.

I do have concerns about space in the TH2F, though I think I picked the smallest reciever for the job.

Cheers, Collective.

Maybe someone knows for sure, does the tinysled sled do more than just crossfire/ tracer for the THF2? If it does then I recommend that to fit your ELRS. Its a great fit and pretty easy to do and looks good. I put Tracer on mine.

I have a HappyModel EP2 in my NBD Hummingbird. I replaced another receiver so I could've shortened the wires, but just left it as is so I had some room to position the RX. I put a small piece of Kapton tape on the bottom of the RX, then secured it with a small piece of 3M VHB. Easy peasy!

I'm running 500Hz dynamic power, and the TX power never goes over 10mW flying inside. It's a huge improvement over the Beeceiver D8 RX that would failsafe in various spots.

Great to see others doing it Smile The ELRS boards arrived today, and untill you see it, its hard to know how tiny it the thing is!! I am actually amazed. Photo of it next to a british 2 pence, its probably smaller or similar size to 1 pence, but couldn't find one to compare.
