11 Very cool. Looks like there's some nice open space for flying behind your house, and looks like that was a gorgeous day in the air. Thanks for sharing.

7 What! No over-head utility wires ???
Great yard for flying! Are your neighbors cool with it?
What camera, btw? I just got an older Phoenix 2 Nano and am really liking it so far.
I too have been flying in my yard a bit more these days - trying really hard to stay inside the fence line

Also working on flying smoother at the moment - not as easy as one would think.
Thumbs up!

19 This happens to be my parents' yard. The neighbors are pretty cool around there. They'll smile and wave if they see me zip by. I'm flying a little 2 incher with a Foxeer Toothless 2 Nano. Little sucker screams!
But yeah, it's a great flying spot. Sits just outside of controlled airspace, there's a ton of little paths to fly, and local radio interference is minimal.

7 25-May-2024, 04:43 PM (This post was last modified: 25-May-2024, 06:15 PM by QuadFlyer68.) Yeah, I'm really appreciating my 2"-3" quads these days. They fly so well.
Also appreciating analog video more these days too - now that I have proper goggles and have ditched my old RunCam Nano 2s. Only1000-1200+ TVL cameras though, and only ones that can do PAL like yours

42 Yup, PAL for the win mate. Our American friends have to put up with never the same colour (ntsc), it was popular in goggles due to the higher frame rate of the broadcasted video format at 29.97fps versus PAL at 25fps.

19 A shame we can't get the best of both, eh? I'm mostly just happy that they still sell analog gear. Being able to access the transmitting end of FPV for under $30 will never be a bad thing.

43 What sort of specs on your quad, Suros? It flies really well. I strive for quads that fly like that but so far they seem elusive.

19 Sure thing!
Frame: Happymodel Bassline w/ Larva X Canopy
AIO: Happymodel X12 ELRS w/ Betaflight 4.5
Motors: RCInPower GTS V3 1002 14000kv
Props: Gemfan Durable 2015 Bi-Blade
Camera: Foxeer Toothless 2 Nano Starlight
Battery: RDQ LiHV 2S 525mah
Total weight: 38g (+battery 67g)
Flies fine even without any PID or filter tuning, but I have been tweaking up the PIDs a bit as I could stand to do away with the prop wash.
