Hi all,

I recently ordered the tbs tracer 6CH PWM nano rx to use for a fixed wing plane. I have a qx7 with a tbs micro tx v2. I did the crsf mode on the tx. It connects great to the drone instantly. I navigate the the crsf lua script and get the module into binding mode and the module slowly blinks green like its ready to bind. I then go to the receiver and plug that in. It slowly blinks green too which according to the manual is in binding mode. But they will not bind together at all. I tried resetting the receiver to the "golden firmware" multiple times and it seems like it works just as the videos but once it resets and slowly blinks green it still does not bind. I tried upgrading the firmware on my module and that didn't fix anything and the module wont bind to my quad anymore but I believe I just have to rebind that. Not to worried about that. Just do not understand why the brand new receiver wont bind. \

I saw another thread about a similar problem and I updated my tx to V 6.10 and it still does not work.

A few questions:

Can you confirm you have a Tracer RX and Tracer TX? You mention “tbs micro tx v2” which got me worried as the Tracer micro tx does not have a v2 (only Crossfire version has a v1 and v2).

You probably know this but you can’t mix Tracer 2.4GHz and Crossfire 900MHz components.

Did your Tracer RX come with a sticker asking for a 6.10 firmware update? If not then try reverting back to 6.09 and trying.

Actually, I did not know that. I had never heard of tracer so I thought nothing of it when I ordered. Luckily I ordered off of amazon so I have free returns and I will do that. 

What are ya'lls recommendations on a 4ch or 6ch crossfire receiver for a fixed-wing craft? Preferably that I can plug servos into but if I have to solder I can.
