Just came across this 6" LR build using the new T-Motor F2203.5 motors. Using a 4S 21700 Samsung 50E 5000mAh pack, he managed a 55 min flight at 40km/h covering 35+ km. AUW was probably ~475g with the giant 4S pack, but pretty impressive nonetheless!
Interestingly, eCalc way underestimates the performance of this build, even if I select the ultra-efficient APC props. Assuming his current sensor is properly calibrated, his current draw at 40km/h is what eCalc predicts for hover (and eCalc says it's not even capable of an 80km/h speed!) I'm not sure why eCalc is so far off in this case, but at least it errs on the side of being too conservative. Hopefully this bodes well for those of us attempting sub-250g LR builds!
