Don't get the Diablo Freud with the real Freud. 19-Oct-2020, 01:46 AM Oh I was thinking those green ones but yeah those or a Freud, a kitchen spoon would probably be better than those bits it came with. 19-Oct-2020, 02:41 AM Lol, I did order a collet kit so I can run different bit sizes, more so for the motor upgrade I'll be doing. Locally end mills are pretty expensive, I might get a couple off of bangers to try and see if they are any good haha. Primarily from user drillman1. I've had good luck with this for cutting/milling aluminum: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3-32-0938-CARBI...1525962541 Note: I do fairly small work using an adjustable speed Makita router. Using a spindle with different speed range and the workpiece itself will dictate the best bit to use - do your research. A good source for information is Openbuilds.com. The forum there has lots of helpful folks. (OpenBuilds has also started carrying their own bits as well. I haven't used them yet, but my next bit purchase will probably be from them.) |
