It may have happened because you ran the LiPo voltage too low (down to 2.5V on some cells) as per your other post. There have been a number of past reports of Betaflight settings resetting themselves back to defaults if the LiPo voltage drops too low. I don't know if this is the reason for your problem but is seems like a bit of a coincidence that you ran the voltage too low and also experienced the settings reset issue. It is the only explanation I have right now.
