I also think that the V2 is real and makes sense. DJI used to release a new version of their products every 18 months. They often do so timed with their competition releasing a new product and even if we think that the shark byte is not threatening DJI in this case it is a way for them to shut down the competition.

I agree. They keep improving their products even though there is no competition. You only have to look at their drones to see the trends.
