NextFPV Anyone?
#1
Anyone buy from this Australian store NextFPV?  https://www.nextfpv.com/

They got something I want and shipping is decent enough since this thing is out of stock everywhere in the U.S. with no ETA on restocking.

Yes, I tend to buy a lot of stuff from NextFPV. They are a professional, reputable seller and official distributors of various top brands a stone throw away from Sydney.

What are you after?

Unless its an item on clearance, what could possibly be worth buying from Australia that its not available in the USA?

Lol its the TX5S.1 Shark Byte VTX.  I know, you laugh in my face.   ROFL

But this VTX in my opinion provides a pretty incredible balance of performance, durability, and price.  All of my SB videos use this VTX.  And while I did not design my frames to accomodate this VTX, its whoop form factor is ideal for sub250 in general, and my frames in particular.  Of the 5 I own, I have had zero issues even after some pretty hard crashes.  I do make sure to keep air flow over them even on the bench but otherwise, I treat them no more carefully than I do my analog VTXs.  Others have reported issues but so far so good for me.  And last but certainly not lease ... fiddy bucks, yo!!  Those DJI thingamajiggies are what?  A buck fiddy easy?  That's crazy talk.  $50.  Done and done.   Thumbs Up

Should'a led with this - every retailer in the U.S. is out of stock.

Makes sense. I too like the whoop vtx over the others and the mounting pattern is a no brainer for me for short to mid range. The newer 20x20 Race vtx has additional pit/mode and vtx power control which still does not justify the price to me.

NextFPV is the official retailer for Fastshark in Australia. I bought my HDO2's from them.

Just a heads up we have a Black Friday sale coming up on 26 November which will be Thursday for US folks in case they offer a price drop on the whoop vtx.

As of now the items they have secretly listed are but this may be updated anytime before the Sale: https://www.nextfpv.com.au/pages/search-...cts&page=4

Thanks Snow. I saw that on the FB group as well. I'm not so concerned now that Carl has stated himself that he will make these himself if he has to. I guess he likes this vtx too. Sucks that Fat Shark doesnt seem to care about their own products not answering retailer orders for these. Not surprised tho.
