Some Props and Hops today

It’s been a while and I just had to brew some beer …and I gotta say burning a pack or two while brewing is some of the best “multi tasking” I’ve ever done!

That looks like it’ll be tasty. I’ve tried brewing beer twice, and it was bad. Like, properly horrible. Making hard cider turned out pretty well though.

I keep thinking I want to try making mead, but then I remember what my beer tasted like.
Dangerous operations.

I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.

… woke up to the “blurp” sound coming from my airllock.. so my yeast is good (so far)…the “gravity” of the beer was 10.68. So the ABV will be 7.68.. brewing beer is fairly simple.. if u can make oatmeal you can brew..BOTTLING is a PITA! I’ve only done it once..so I keg.. basically bottle one big beer…
I tried Mead once, yeah, I did a half ass job and the results showed…

I've made a few batches of beer, some better than others. I've got a kit in the basement waiting to get brewed, maybe this is the week. I always enjoy the bottling part. The cap presser is fun and it's quite satisfying filling and topping all the beer I'll soon enjoy.
Happy flying and happy drinking!

Looking good. Smart to do the brewing outside with the heat. Best of luck on the beer and the flights!
