Any Bando spots in North Georgia?
#1
I'm getting bored flying my local spots. Trying to find a decent bando around North Georgia if anyone knows of anything? Any info is appreciated!

It can be pretty tough to find accessible abandoned buildings. My buddy and I used to explore them all the time in New Jersey. There are forums dedicated to abandoned exploration, but finding the spots is still tough as they are frequently guarded secrets. I would look for schools and medical facilities that have permanently closed in the last 15 years. Then Google earth the location to see if it's been redeveloped. Then do a visit on foot with no gear to figure out access and safety. Then go fly. Always remember that you are probably trespassing and almost certainly breaking numerous laws, so be very discreet. I've also been in some legitimately dangerous buildings, so watch your step.
Old explorer's motto was 'take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints"

No guarantees, but here's a solid lead on one from a quick Google search of 'cleveland georgia closed permanently factory'

Lot looks derelict from Google earth.
Even if you can't access the big building, there's great outdoor pipes and gates and factory doo-dads that would be an awesome place to crash a quad.
I would park a half mile away and walk in from the train tracks if I was going to explore this place.
Good luck out there!
