All I know is that Banggood are probably making a ton of profit on the stock market with all the money they took from people 2.5 months ago with what currently just seems to be vaporware. The only reason I'm holding my ground and not caving in for a refund at the moment is because while there is no risk that I won't get my money back via PayPal, I need to keep running with this experiment because I want to find out for sure if BG do ever intend to actually ship the goods that people paid for or not. Then it can be a lesson for other people who are thinking about spending money on a high value item that is on a (maybe fake) promotion.

If it ends up getting close to the PayPal dispute expiry time I may have no choice but to just bail out and file a dispute. Maybe that is exactly what Banggood are planning for people to do. I guess I'll find out in due course. I know a number of other people who ordered the same and already bailed. One is still waiting for his money back more than 3 weeks after cancelling the order and requesting a refund.

Either way, the problem now is that I was originally expecting delivery well before the end of summer. If BG do ever ship my order I likely now won't get what I paid for before winter arrives, and that generally means no flying for 4+ months. So I'll then be unable to do any proper test flights to check that there are no issues. Plus by the time I get to go flying there could be a new version released. I ended up in exactly that position last year with my RunCam 5 (black version). Before I even got to do a maiden flight with it, RunCam had already released the newer orange version Rolleyes
