Slowly but surely coming together again...
#1
Mods started when I was getting some bad layer shifting in an enclosed tent. Determined high temp steppers were in order to correct, which led to since I had it down... a few other things. Smile Made some gantry stiffeners for both north south & east west because I couldn't get it to tram square and hold as was.

Needed to keep electronics isolated from the heated chamber area for longevity so I cobbled together an enclosure some time back. And since it was down... hit on the idea of using a mini pc case. Wanting lighting inside, led to some lamomo led strip lights. They are really awesome, gonna cut say a 2" strip off for nozzle task lighting.

Bunch of house cleaning left to do along with other fiddle farting but getting there..

Love the angel eye on/off switches for main power and lighting... I know, dork much... Smile

I want my whole printing and milling system in sealed cabinets when i do mine with all electronics outside the cabinets. Haven't really got past the planning stage and have so far failed to get my 3d printer to do anything. The instructions I got with it were way above my head. I think I will have to buy a kit and build it myself to actually understand it, but don't really have a lot of things in order enough to do that right now.

Is the printer new or used? What's it doing/not doing? Which printer?

Used and I have never got it to work. A friend gave me it to learn on, but it's an absolute pain.

Printer is a Monoprice mini. He says it does work. I need to set it up again and mess with it. Officially it doesn't print TPU, which is a large chunk of the reason I want a 3D Printer. When I have spare money I am looking to buy a Prusa or Ender in pieces and assemble it myself. i think that is the only true way to learn things. Smile
