I purchased a pair of these goggles to use with the new toothpick I built. I updated the firmware after purchasing them. I noticed that the number of channels I have is less than what I am seeing on other guide websites and YouTube. I have channels 1-3 and CHP only. For instance, Oscar’s review shows 8 channels.

Also, several of my display settings like resolution, frame rate, bit rate, transmitter power, etc are greyed out. The little joystick on the side of the goggles just skips over the greyed out selections.

I bought a Lipo battery for the goggles but unfortunately forgot to get the appropriate charger cable for my old IMAX B6 charger and the Lipo battery just died. Charging cable is coming tomorrow via Amazon.

I have it paired with the Walksnail Avatar VTX and when I flashed the new firmware I got a new Avatar screen on boot up. Camera works great and I finally got the OSD to show up.

Any comments for those who own or are familiar with these goggles?

Also according to Bardwell and I forgot what was the reason but you need to do a factory reset after updating firmware. Once you do a reset you need to add those two text files to unlock the system again. Yes I know it is a pain.

I unlocked the FCC restrictions and max output power I have is 500 mw.  Goggles and camera work great.  There is an annoying white dashed box that stays on even when VTX is off and screen is black.  There must be a setting somewhere to turn it off.  Have you had that issue with your googles.

Working out some more kinks with this build.  I am hoping to get to fly it soon.

Try turning off the viewfinder setting in your goggles. There is quite a bit helpful info and tips here for the Walksnail system.

Thanks.  Looks like that is the issue.  I searched everywhere try to find an answer.
