Hey Everyone,

I was expecting that FrSky would take down all of their older "Unrestricted" firmwares when they brought out the new V2.0 ones.

I collected as many of the last release Pre V2.0 ones as I could and now that they have started to remove some I have hosted them up at the link below.

Thanks Dave I can't get my x9d plus to connect with windows 10 but can pull the SD card and it shows up as mass storage can or is there any way to flash the new receiver to the old protocol or just thru the radio old guy and newbie to drones any help would be appreciated

Hi Jimi,

You can put the Receiver firmware in the "Firmwares" folder on the SD card and then put the SD back in your radio and then flash the RX.

Follow the guide below on Oscars website, but instead of doing Step 1 and putting your radio into bootloader mode, just remove the SD, copy the files directly to the SD and then put the SD back in your radio.

Does the F.Port firmware on your site linked above apply also to R-XSR?

I assume so, but just thought I'd ask while saying that you are the $#!+ for thinking ahead and doing this for the community. I've been racking my brain and scouring the internet for a way to access these. I had just about given up, so I registered here on intofpv to ask if anyone had the files still on their Taranis SD or PC HDD. But as soon as I clicked the Radio/Transmitter forum link, there it was. That's a sweet feeling, and I have you to thank for it, so Thank You Very Much, kind sir!

If you go to the website linked in the first post and download the standard "R-XSR" Firmware, inside the zip file is both normal and F Port Firmware for the R-XSR.
