0 This is little drone has been kind of a pain. It worked right away but after a few flights and no crashes it won't bind to my transmitter. I've tried everything to put it into binding mode. It's the ELRS version. I've tried pushing the bind button. I've tried using the CLI bind command and it says that it can't perform that action or something like that. It will connect to Betaflight but obviously there is no receiver outputs detected. I have the serial Rx turned on in UART 1. I'm at a loss as to what I should try next. Any suggestions?

0 Well, that definitely helped getting it to bind to the Tx but I think in the process of me trying to get it to bind the Vtx must have gotten too hot and burned itself out. It will briefly show a quick screen with the Betaflight logo on it and then nothing. I've tried flashing the newest firmware to the Vtx and that didn't help. The OSD says Low RSSI and the four groups of bars in the upper righthand corner of the screen in my goggles are showing no bars. I've tried taking the antenna off and putting it back on. I have a mini fan blowing on it constantly now. It was my dumb mistake not doing that when I was trying to bind it earlier. Ugh, this little quad has been more tinkering than flying unfortunately.

19 Have you let it get cold before trying after the first time?

0 Yeah, I've let it cool off. I'll let it sit tonight and see what it does tomorrow. I really hope I didn't fry it.

0 I reinstalled the FW in the HDZero goggles and now it syncs with the quad but the Vtx gets hot so dang fast. If it sits for a mere 10 seconds without the props turning it will get too hot hot and lose signal. Outside flying it does just fine but it's also 32 degrees currently where I live. I don't remember it ever getting that hot in the past.

20 I’m not familiar with these AIOs.. the OG tinyhawks yeah.. their VTXs were actually a completely seperate board..
I would change the setting in betaflight to “low till first arm”.. and do a good visual inspection of the board.. there maybe something stuck causing a short..
If u loose the vtx .. don’t fret, u can install a external one.. they are small enough and light u wing notice it to much..

0 I had the same problem with my TH3+ Freestyle. I resolved it through Betaflight to setup bind phrase, pretty much the way MSTC said in above. My quad is suppose to have ELRS 3.x but it never went into wifi mode for me.
