That's awesome Huggy!  I've been looking at ground based FPV for awhile.  I'm not interested in the off-road stuff.  But the pavement, both electric and fuel, particularly scale F1 excites me.

Unfortunately there aren't any tracks near me.

i gave it to a buddy, more near to an rc track. he spend some additional work and money to it, it received shiny leds... better vtx and cam... hopefully i will see it in action again soon.

driving an original f1 track on a fpv car would be awesome :-)

i love rc cars, i leave them just about the amount of money i spend for them. flying is that much inexpensive in terms of high performence.
there are still some dreams; 4wheel stearing, edf-combination kind of air support... a gyro and props could give fun, self made aerodynamic grip by a prop would be awesome xD hopefully one dream will turn into a plan and a build onetime.
6wheel streetcar is also on my dreaming list:

There is 702 raceway in Las Vegas.  You can't be too far from there are you?

Our daughter lives in Sherman Oaks and it is 284 miles one way to her house.

There are a couple in the LA area, and we likely will take a look when we go visit her.  But to really enjoy the hobby, 600 miles round trip isn't really sustainable.
