ZMR250 v2.1 FPVModel
#1
This is my first quad build. I ordered the kit from FPVModels with the 2206 t-motors and never looked back. It's had a couple of changes since I first built it, some good, some maybe not as good, but it does fly decent for my skill level. I had to do a few soldering repairs on the pdb from pulled off pads but those were all mainly my fault. I did order a 3D printed parts kit from plasticspider and I like how it cleans up the mounting for the rx, vtx, cam, and xt60 but it does add some extra weight. Thanks to the large motors and 4s power, I can spin 6" props with ease to overcome the weight and still have efficiency, currently HQ6030 props are my favorite for it with 5040 dal props right behind those. The higher pitch props are a ton of fun on this quad but I just enjoy the longer flight times.

The only thing I don't like about the quad is the weight, 735 grams all in flying weight. Part of that is because of the PDB and the 3D printed parts, but the pros/cons of each of those are about equal so I will leave it the way it is. Plus I have a good excuse to start a race quad build lol.

@Bigjohn141

I just bought the same ZMR250 V2.1 from FPVModel and also new to building FPV Quad.
I have a question regarding VBat and OSD on the ZMR250.

I want to display my main flight battery voltage on my 7inch FPV Screen.

How do I go about doing this?
1) Just connect Vbat on the Naze32 to the Main flight battery via the PDB on the ZMR250 or
2) Connect "Bat1" or "Bat2" on the KV Team MinimOSD to the Main flight battery via the PDB on the ZMR250

Can you also share your PIDs for your ZMR250 build?

Thank you

I would prefer hooking up Voltage to the VBAT on the FC.. Wiring is normally cleaner

Thank you Oscar

I will follow your recommendation and connect main battery voltage to VBat on my FC.

Cool Smile pay extra attention to polarity on VBAT or you could fry you FC which I have done more than once hehe
