ZMR180 CF Frame (Black Edition)
#1
This is the frame that made me forget my 250's. The yaw on these sub 200 frames is sick. I am now in search of smaller quads... Next will perhaps be a sub 150.

What I think of this build? Well for starters it ain't for the faint of heart since space is at a premium. You need to plan from start to finish, preferably before you even start! (I tend to go on the fly often, but with this one, terrible things can happen). If you can build your 250's cleanly and eyes closed, then this should be the next step! I slightly overpowered this one, since it was originally planned for 1806/2204 but I went all guns blazing with 2205-2633's! It flies like a rocket! Very stable too, its the first mega locked in quad I have. The sound of this one impresses, possibly because when people see such a small quad, they think toy grade/no power.

Parts list :
Frame : FPVModel ZMR180
PDB : Matek PBD (included)
Motor : RCX 2205-2633
ESC : FVT Little Bee 20a
Battery : NanoTech 1300 4s 45-90c
FC : Flip32
FPV Gear : LT200 vtx, pz0420 cam, Aomway antenna
Radio system : Taranis + D4rII (cppm)
Props : GF4045BN
Updated to black posts (hence Black Edition!)

Pros :
Light (290g/wo battery, could be less if smaller motors)
Agile
Can aim for tighter gaps

Cons :
Limited space
Somewhat fragile (read below)
Cannot be flown los very far (yeah right!)

Concerning the comment about fragility, its robust but depending on hits, it might not survive. There are reports that the slits they put in the frame near the rear arms can lead to the arms ripping apart in a direct hit scenario. I can confirm this, a low fall with no apparent force made a crease in the carbon. Now FPVModel has rectified this in a later design. Plus when I posted pics of this, they sent me a replacement bottom frame. So good support!

Would I recommend it to someone? With the V2 plates, yes indeed! This is so much fun!
