ZMR250 - The Green Beast
This was my first true quadcopter, but "the green beast" was rebuilt from the ground up.
Everybody knows this frame, it can take the beating well, and there is enough room for every accesory you can possibly put on a mini quad.
I tried my best to get the looks right, so used black and green parts everywhere I could. I have my friend 3dprint me green fpvcam holder and a led bar to the back. Fortunately there are many printable stuff for this frame on thingiverse.
I like this quad much, I learned to fly on this, but to be honest this is a tank!
The setup:
Flight Controller: CC3D /w Betaflight
Motor: SunnySky X2207 2100KV
Propeller: DAL 5045BN
ESC: Dys SN20A /w BlHeli 14.2
PDB: Dual BEC 5V/12V PDB from banggood
Radio RX: D4R-II
VTX: Boscam TS5828 600mW
FPV camera: Sony SuperHAD 2 600TVL
LiPo: Turnigy nano-tech 1800mAh 35-65C 4S (200gr)/ 2200mAh 35-65C 3S (200gr)
HD Camera: Xiaomi Yi
Pros:
+popular frame with spare parts available
+cheap and durable
+easy to service or modify
+these motors really are a beast
Cons:
-performance comes with a downside: motors are heavy: 34gr each
-that's why the whole quad is heavy: 425gr naked and ~710gr with HD cam and battery!
-motors eat batteries pretty fast, and pull many amps
