ZBROY Prometheus
#1
Just got this frame in. All I have chosen to use so far-

Prometheus
Xing Camo 2207 1800
WinDancer Skitzo Galaxy

I am going to use a CLRacing F7 and a Geprc 50A I have. I am probably gonna go Toothless 2 and Mach 3 also.

Pretty.

Interesting arm design.
Dangerous operations.

Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about.
I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.

It is a good looking frame but not one I would buy again. It’s a bit underwhelming.

Niccee!!! I remember when the Zbroy guy was here promoting it. As a concept frame, I was always a huge fan - drawbacks be damned. At least these guys actually innovated and tried something new.

Can't wait for the flight video!!!

I don’t disagree at all. I just kinda expected a bit more. I can’t really explain it.

check out the durability, maybe it will shine - maybe not Undecided durability might be an aimed benefit.

There was a lot of hype around the ZBROY Prometheus frame when it first came out but when a few people then got hold of it, it turned out to be underwhelming and disappointing for the high $170 price tag that it demands. The frame itself has a very high weight of 186g and people have managed to bend the frame when crashing it, so I'm not exactly sure what type of "Titanium" they are actually using. Not a high strength Titanium alloy by the looks of it. I'm actually surprised that ZBROY are still manufacturing the frames TBH with the small number of sales they must be making with it.

It will be interesting to hear what your own thoughts and experiences are.

I did read reports of it bending. When I swapped the Carbon braces for Titanium ones the arms sure had some flex in them. It certainly is underwhelming for the price. Maybe it will surprise me in the way it flies.

My Super G 10” is a $160 frame and I haven’t second guessed that purchase yet. Sometimes innovations are just for show. Lol

It will probably be a couple weeks before I finish it. I just grabbed a brand new Remix 2 off a buddy for cheap. I can’t stop buying them. Lol, just need to build what I have.
