Your opinion on Chameleon?

So what's everyone's real opinion on the Armattan Chameleon? I see a lot of praise online for it but I don't know if it's because the frame is actually durable and amazing for Acro or if it just looks cool so everyone's hopping on the hype train.

I actually race mine, I am just an average pilot, but I like the top mounted battery, it just feels good in the air to me, it does a great job of protecting my gear from damage when I smash into things which is often. It is very easy to build and work on. That is why I use it

I am in the process of building one now.  Waiting on the motors.  I do know they have a lifetime warranty on the frame.....which I am sure I will need to take advantage of. Whistling

I am guessing the Chameleon really deserves the praise it gets, but judging from a personal opinion... I think the frame is ugly as hell. I don't know why but this unusual front sticking out really gets me.

I am a big fan of my new DQUAD LRX Frame

If you haven't read my build thread for the Chameleon, you should!

It's a great frame. Excellent handling, very durable and good protection for your FPV camera. Plus, you get that Armattan lifetime warranty as well which speaks volumes about the maker's confidence in the frame.

Don't have one myself, but know others who do and from what I can tell, it's just a great all-around frame. You can find better racing frames, better acro frames, more durable frames, etc, but the Chameleon puts it all together into one solid package.

The Lifetime warranty thing isn't perfect though. You'll definitely get replacements, but you won't always get them super fast.

Come on, that's a bit rich isn't it? They'll send you parts to fix your frame, for free, regardless of how you broke it and you expect them to courier the parts to you as well??
