Yaw and Roll movement when doing acro moves
#1
When i yaw left, the quad's roll axis move a little to the right. Maybe I am still a noob, not sure if this is normal, i can still fly with this so it's no big deal.

But i wanna do fast 360 yaw spins and with this "problem" it isnt possible, because quad dont hold roll axis.

I am using the lastest betaflight, I haven't spent too much time tuning yet - but it's flying very nice already.

Anyone got any idea? is this tuning related ? Or this is normal and i need to do it with my sticks/skills?

I think this is normal.

If you are already pitched forward and you yaw left, your camera should point higher to the sky. Especially so if you have camera tilted, the quad is not rolling, its just rotating on it's Z axis.

However if you are just hovering perfectly flat and you yaw, your camera/attitude should stay flat. If it doesn't, something is wrong with your tune or RC.

Okay I see what you mean Smile
But let's say i was flat and if the same problem happens, it could be in pid settings ?

If the quad is flying correctly, and if i dont touch anything except yaw, after 360 yaw spin i should be back where i was (without altitude) right?

That's correct. Try it line of sight. Hover and then yaw 360 left. The quad shouldn't move, just spin on its yaw axis.

If it moves, check the receiver tab in cleanflight and make sure your roll channel isn't moving when you yaw.

You can correct this effect by rolling left with the right yaw. People do fast 360 turn (yaw) and quad stay totally stable in roll/pitch axis . and they achieve this totally with their sticks
