I finally solder my New and first build ! So I eventually tested your advice, you have some serious guts oscar ! You were right, and only you made That guess ! So i made a video of the fc : https://youtu.be/doXNHEOvx3M?t=141s We can see ne respond on normal and boot mod when only connected by usb, but it revive when iplugged in the +5v rail (where the vidéo link start) So what does That mean ? Is it Still operational ? Can i still flash it ? I didnt went fruther than checking gyro and direction of motors spinning. Thanks for your time oscar • Posts: 7 Threads: 0 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 1 Joined: Aug 2016 Reputation: 0 17-Aug-2016, 10:57 PM (This post was last modified: 18-Aug-2016, 09:04 AM by Boutbou.) So it worked, my f303 is on cf 1.13 but i cant put it in bootloader mod. I received à New f303 v2.1 fro fpv model, thanks to them ! But i tried to change the driver of stm32 when connected on boot mod but zadig wont recognaze it as stm32, only uart to usb driver appear Edit: I raid your review again with New eyes. I didn't remember you spotted this problem of 5v usb diode burnt. It seems That I have same problem with this v2.1. Do you think it is OK to use it like that ? Can i still flash it ? Should i try to flash the New one ? • Posts: 7 Threads: 0 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 1 Joined: Aug 2016 Reputation: 0 So i'm Still working on my first v2.1. I have a pb with my received, now its OK i Will fly this week end... Finally ! I flashed BF 3.0 rc12, seems OK. I have to calibrage my esc now (xm30a, blheli14. 4) But i cant as with my dead diode, fc has to be powered by the 5v rail. Do you know an other way to calibrate esc ? The process wont start on BF if powered from Antoine elles than usb... Have you tried contacting FPVModel about your issue? see if they can help? http://intofpv.com/forum-fpvmodel • Posts: 7 Threads: 0 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 1 Joined: Aug 2016 Reputation: 0 31-Aug-2016, 01:58 PM (This post was last modified: 31-Aug-2016, 02:11 PM by Boutbou.) Yes i had, they send me an other fc last month. But as I managed (thanks to you) to start the first / burned diode fc I mounted it on my model... Really great Customer support at fpv model ! But i dont like to waste so i try to get all i an from this fc Did you get any desync with BF 3.0 ans BLheli ? Has i inverted 2 of my redbottom by the blhelisuite, I'm am afraid of these dead loops That happen to a lot of pilots I use xm30a (old big capacitor version) on bhl 14.4. Will it be powered by 5v from it ? What i have to check before to do it ? • Posts: 7 Threads: 0 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 1 Joined: Aug 2016 Reputation: 0 01-Sep-2016, 12:06 PM (This post was last modified: 03-Sep-2016, 06:26 PM by Boutbou.) I manage to calibrate trough UART. It works fine on BF3.0 R12 . try it today , it was a blast. Thanks again oscar for your support • Posts: 10 Threads: 1 Likes Received: 2 in 2 posts Likes Given: 5 Joined: Apr 2016 Reputation: 0 Folks, as I've posted in another topic recently the soldering pad for buzzer got ripped off last day. I was told to try scratching the board to be able to solder a thin wire to it or solder directly to the FC but I don't think I could do that. Do you know if it's possible to remap the pins on the board somehow? Can I set up for example one of the unused motor outputs to behave as a buzzer pin? Thanks! • Posts: 5,314 Threads: 672 Likes Received: 3,155 in 1,743 posts Likes Given: 2,027 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 139 (01-Sep-2016, 03:58 PM)mgy Wrote: Folks, as I've posted in another topic recently the soldering pad for buzzer got ripped off last day. Or should I run telemetry on SoftSerial (like on Naze32) but I can't find which pins are used for SoftSerial in X-Racer F303 Manual. Does anyone know? SmartPort telemetry runs on a higher baud rate than recommended for SoftSerial though so it will tax the CPU a bit..will I still be able to run 4k refresh rate on the FC ( or 3.8k as Oscar recommends in his recent article) ? Has finally somebody managed the Softserial to work with Smartport telemetry? I would like to replace my old Naze32 v6 with a F303 3.1 but I am concerned about my X4RSB telemetry. I am used to make a softserial with 2 pins on Naze32 and telemetry is OK, but I am reading post about problems finding the rights pins on F303, or even baud rate problems etc. Which is the smartest way to manage this? I have seen people using UART1 (USB shared) and then disconnecting the X4RSB when usb connection is needed. Why are not they using UART2 for telemetry?? In my case I only need SBUS (UART3) and Smartport Telemetry (... Smartport? UART2? ) Thanks!! • Posts: 3 Threads: 0 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Feb 2017 Reputation: 0 (15-Feb-2017, 01:15 PM)Skorzo Wrote: Has finally somebody managed the Softserial to work with Smartport telemetry? You could probably use uart2, but there has been some RX/tx mix-up with v3.0 if I remember correctly. I have it connected to uart1, as my osd is on uart2 |
