X4R-SB channel mapping

Thank you voodoo..

It works great! Smile

I don't need the 4th PWM channel, so haven't done the soldering part. I only flashed the X4R-SB with X8R firmware (latest LBT) and bound it as illustrated in the picture.
Now I have SBUS 1-8 and 3 true PWM channel 9-11! The mini 3d gimbal works like a treat now Smile

mini gimbal you say? I'd love to see what you've done.
I superglued together 3 3.7g servos and it's alright, on the meh side of alright, due to the 90 degrees limitation of servos. I just learned that some servos have a 180 range so I'll try with those.

what others frsky receivers have this feature to enable pwm while using sbus? only x4r-sb?

The X8R I believe has both SBUS and PWM active. I don't believe there is any mod.

hello,
i did this hack in order to have 4 pwm for a glider. I didn't solder the sbus wires, but removed the r25 and shorted r34. then uploaded X8R firmware v(LBT).
but channel where sbus was before is only working at half range. Do you have the same ?
thank you

PS: Solved it was my calibration that was faulty. everything is working fine. i have a "RX4r" now
