wizzard 220s / taranis x9d plus problem
#1
I am trying to setup my wizard 220s on my taranis x9d plus in betaflight and they are not talking well. I have flashed both of them to the latest firmware. My receiver has the green light on indicating it is bound to my taranis. When I power down my quad my taranis tells me "telemetry lost". But when I move the sticks for throttle, pitch roll or yaw none of the sliders in betaflight receiver move. Similarly, when I go to assign the switches in beta flight modes flipping the switches which are assigned in my taranis does not produce any effect in modes. How do I fix this?

How did you wire the RX to the FC? If it comes pre-wired, a photo would be great. Also screen shot of betaflight configuration and port tab.

Are these the pictures you need?

Here are the ports and configurations tabs. I couldn't get the configuration tab all in one shot, so I broke it into 4 pieces. Is this what you need?

I should also add that I can spin the motors from the betaflight motors tab, but my taranis will not spin the motors.

From what I know of this craft, on the Ports tab you should set UART6 to SerialRX and not UART3.

Then, in the configuration tab, under "Receiver" make sure you select "serial based receiver" and provider SBUS.

What kind of receiver do you have? I notice it can be set to output CPPM or SBUS. You need to make sure the receiver is also set to output SBUS.

We are now set to uart6.
Under receiver we are now "serial based receiver" / sbus

How do I set my receiver to output sbus? Stupid newbie question: Are we talking about the XSR-E receiver?

Rx should automatically set sbus if you wire the sbus wire to fc. And it looks like you did it correctly with white wire.

The Omnibus should be UART3 not uart6. With the current firmware, you don't need to do anything to the board to use SBUS.

You say that your transmitter says "telemetry lost" when you power down the quad, but does the transmitter also say "telemetry recoverd" if you power up the quad?
