Wizard 220 Help...
#1
I got my ARF wizard 220 in the other day and figured today I would start getting it setup.  I planned to use the X8R that came with my Taranis x9d.  I was able to get them bound together no problem.  The issue that I am running into is that nothing works.  No motor spin up nothing.  I connected to BetaFlight and noticed there is no transmitter movement when i move the sticks around.  I have the receiver wires off the flight controller hooked into channel 1 on the x8r.  Any ideas what I need to do to get it going?  Thanks!

I'm sure someone with a Taranis can chime in, but pretty sure there would be a dedicates sBus port on the receiver, not just channel 1.

Possibly just prop/motor direction problem. Easy to do. lol

so after running a series of test on betaflight on the motors, did confirm each motor is correctly placed and spins correctly but those things are all jacked up in terms of how fast each one spins. 1 and 2 motors increase by themselves in throttle while 3 and 4 decrease which is causing it to flips over to the right. If i give full forward stick there is a difference in how they respond. Any ideas?

Have you tried calibrating the ESCs?

Twice so far.  With further testing I have determined the gradual increase in motors 1 and 2 and the gradual decrease in 3 and 4 are only affected with throttle and yaw.  The pitch and roll are rock solid.  I can't figure out what the issue it.

If you are in the setup page from betaflight and you move the quadcopter, is this the same as the model on the page?
Move forward, backward, left, right, etc.

Most times yes it has the correct heading and orientation as on the screen and some time I have noticed it offset.

Did you changed something when it's not the same on the screen? And is it now correct?

I'm going to flash the controller and start from scratch and see if I just missed something along the way.

Check FC orientation, motor direction, motor order, and correct prop. These things are the most common reason for it to flip over

motor direction, order and props are all good to go. it's the steady increase in throttle on 1 and 2 and the decrease in 3 and 4 that I am stuck on figuring out.

Is this happening on the bench? If so that could be possible because of the PID control loop, it can't correct itself.

On the bench and outside. Both times I've tried to get it to lift off, it goes hard right yaw and goes straight into the grass.
