somehow I'm dumb enough to put a action cam on quad at the first flight
and this is my first power loop, still need a lot of work to make it perfect

(then i was way too greedy to do a reverse powerloop afterwards... that broke the LCD on my M10 camera )

My entry for this contest. 
It's an old video but one of my favorites way back before I had a HD camera to record my flights. So a friend of mine recorded my flight from his Xiaomi while I recorded a DVR. Excuse the flickering as the standard NTSC fpv camera of the Vendetta does not work well in PAL countries due to a different electricity frequency.

It's just text overlay but since it's a 4k video the resolution is soo high and the text soo small you'll miss it at lower qualities and/or smaller screens.. 

By the way I really like that your forum has an autosave feature for replies.... I wish other forums would add those features

Well, I'm glad that flying skills aren't a big factor in judging

Here's my entry, I hope you like it. This is one of my favourite spots to fly, as I love the slow, loopy kind of flying, and the power lines make a perfect platform for that.

If I win, I can make another video that doesn't have so much jello the power lines look like guitar strings

@drross ill be the grumpy old man, beside looking cool, flying close to high voltage wires isn't too good for sooo many reasons to name a few:
- electromagnetic field that might kickin your FS at any time
- potential crash with line might be VEEEEEEY costy
- potential news header "drone caused blackout in 1/2 of <Location>" (not fact based but clickbait/feargenerator)
so i hope those were "old unused power lines that just hang there for your fun"
as for the quad itself, look into tuning this should reduce the jello, check if your motor/prop is balanced etc.

Oh, I forgot to mention the winners will also get this badge on their profile

Well, I certainly wasn't trying to rock the boat, but if that's how my video is perceived, then I'll take it down. Just let me know. I honestly don't think a miniquad could damage the cables, it's essentially braided cable. And as I said, I've been there lots before, and have tested my connection. I was no more than 100m from myself. Honestly, I think flying with people or vehicles around deserves a lot more flack than I do, there's a lot more potential for harm there.

I know the quad needs tuning, this is stock Betaflight on old hardware. But it flies well enough, and I focus more on enjoying my flights. I don't tend to put flight videos up on youtube, but I didn't want to miss this competition.

it is not about rocking the boat, and for sure you will not be able to cut or even damage such cable typically they are arm width ,
what im trying to point is to look at the news headlines "drone near miss, 17 people died in car crash" - again clickbaiting and fear...
so if for any reason quad will be stuck on a power line i'd expect "drone hit powerline! North Korea to nuke rest of the world"
