why you should only buy brand name LiPo...
#1
Not only for the quality of the LiPo, but the authenticity of the spec as well LOL Big Grin
In this case, both capacity and C rating are fake...

Now we understand why "ZOP" is assumed to mean Zero Output Power!

I'm kind of glad that Banggood won't ship batteries to Sweden. Big Grin

ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL

it's one thing to overstate the capabilities of your product... that's already bad and in general dishonest... but to take a product that is specifically built to a different spec, and put new labels on it specifying additional capabilities... that's just plain fraud. In either case though, it's down right unsafe!

Thanks for sharing this Oscar... now all the sudden my own battery problems are put into perspective a bit lol... I mean... if I am ruining name brand batteries, just imagine one of these things in my hands! Almost certainly would be fire involved

The word is "dishonest".

"Silly" implies some level of humour and innocence.

Omg. I have this battery laying somewhere. Have not flown yet. I was suspicious about the C rating, but newer thought that it could be soooo wrong.

In the US... It's more than dishonest... It's Fraudulent.

Let this be a good reminder to everyone also.... some things that you purchase internationally are not regulated the same way that they are in your home country. This isn't all bad, in fact when the government isn't involved we still manage to work out the issue as you can see in this case... Just know that it's worth a little extra research when buying internationally!

Only Netherland Post or Swedish Post ship Lipo's from Asia to Europe.

I just used a lot of ZOP lipo's for my drone camp without any problems, but these where 3S lipo and not pushed to the max off course.

I have a batch of ZOP and ZF 3S, 550mah packs I use for messing around in the yard. I get have a timer on my Taranis that informs me when 3 minutes of ARMED time has passed. I think I have run them out to maybe 3 and a half minutes. So far no issues. They are seem to work and they hold a charge of 12.6 overnight. I usually fly 5 packs a day (that actually sounds strangely bad...). I am curious to see what is inside once they start to die off. I have only had them for about a month and they still feel strong enough.
OMG, no one told me it would be this fun!  Addicted :)
