Which wing for SpeedybeeF405 wing
#1
Hello all, happy new year.

I was going to put the 405 wing into my very old, bedraggled, Easyglider Pro.
Second thoughts crept in and I was thinking of something like a Baby AR or a Ripper 690. But.... looking at the videos I wondered if the Speedybee stack might be too tall.

I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks.

I checked on the Baby AR. The compartment is advertised as 38mm tall, whereas the (I'm assuming Matek) F405-Wing V1 and V2 are 13mm tall. I had to guess a little on the Ripper R690, but it seems like 40mm inside. Both should be pretty happy with such a flight controller.

Thanks Suros. The Speedybee stack is 50mm+- That makes the BabyAR too small. I managed to find the Ripper battery compartment size as 175 x 75 x 55 so I may go that way. Many thanks.

Ah, so my assumption was incorrect in two places. First was the brand, and second was my eyeballed measurement with their picture of a Caddx Vista with a heatsink+fan rigged to the top of it. Glad you got it all sorted. Hope to hear that you got up in the air successfully!

The speedybee wing fc is 50mm long, not 50 tall…it should fit nicely in a baby ar. Smile
