Which is the PDB for me? ZMR250 PDB V2.1?
#1
Dear all,
I am Giulio, from Italy, future FPV Pilot, nice to meet you all!

I am roaming around the web looking for the right pieces for my first ZMR250. I found the frame but I want the cleanest bild as I can so, I'd like to use the right PDB.
I'd like to:
1) Use this OSD ( http://www.banggood.com/FPV-OSD-On-Scree...97445.html
2) Use naze 32 ra,

In this way I reduce the mess of cables...

Should I use this PDB?

http://www.unmannedtechshop.co.uk/zmr250-pdb-v2-1/

with this ESCs:
http://www.fpvmodel.com/fvt-littlebee-20...g1082.html

Do you have another PDB to suggest me? I don't know which is the most useful.

Thanks so much for your help, God Bless this Forum.

Hi Joule, welcome to the forum. Smile

This is only my personal view , I am not a huge fan of these type of PDB's, They are probably very good, I do not know.
By the look of it you will need to find out if the Littlebee ESC's will fit on that board in the slots provided.

You can buy small great value for money PDB's with built in OSD, This is just one example, http://www.redrotorrc.com/index.php?rout...uct_id=115

Your choice of esc is good, but for a bucks more get the Pro version, http://www.fpvmodel.com/favourite-fvt-li...g1146.html

Happy building. Smile

Hey Joule!

I like the full plate PDB, no one else in my group does.

My ZMR 250 has this one: http://simplepdb.com/zmr-250/

It works wonderfull and I am really amazed on it's durability. Seriously, it's crazy durable.
I've broken arms, top and bottom plates but that Pdb has not a single scratch.

I'm in preparing a second ZMR build and in debating between either the Pancake or the Cyntrynka PDB from Flyin Lemon: https://flyinglemon.eu/12-pdb

The trick with these full plate PDB's (at least my belief) is to make the build to not put stress on it in event off a crash; number one way to do this: don't put the arms on it.

As for the ESCs, in for the pro version.

Let us know what you decide on this build!

Hi Giulio,

I'm also from Italy... Tongue

I'm using this PDB on my ZMR250 (this is in real the upgraded version that supports also the SPRacingF3, I have the old version with the BEC on a separate two small boards) http://www.banggood.com/PDB-Power-Distri...44896.html

I really don't like the one you posted, desoldering and fitting all the esc in the middle could be really difficult, also if you fry an ESC or you want to change them with a different model it will not be easy at all.

Using the PDB I've linked, you can buy the Micro Minim OSD (not included). http://www.banggood.com/MICRO-MinimOSD-M...90556.html

I love my setup, but right now i think it's a bit heavy and something more can be done in the future... I'll go with a 210 frame (something like the Lisam/Lumenier QAV210) and a lighter PDB. Probably using the new SPRacing F3 Evo PDB that will be released from Dominic Clifton in the very next future.

The LittleBees ESCs are really great. You don't really need right now the Pro version, the naze32 cannot go that fast.

What motors are you using?

Cheers,
Alessio.
