wow i forget how big the Internet is sometimes, and how worldwide this hobby has gotten. there's people from all over the world on here. so let me be more precise, I live in Glendale, CA.

Usually I fly a park in Monrovia before work and during lunch. I've been trying to find a group to fly with constantly on weekends without driving to far.

have you ever been to the Glendale Sports Complex? it has 4 softball fields, and 2 soccer fields. plus it's all on top of a hill away from everything. they open up the park at 7am, and it's much closer to you than Monrovia.
