06-Jul-2022, 08:03 PM Im learning Elementor Pro and would love some help hehe 08-Jul-2022, 02:18 AM Don't know anything about Elementor. We always used Dreamweaver when I did it at Uni. No GUIs, you just wrote code and previewed it, rinse repeat. Same with PHP and CSS. Never was my cup of tea. For specific help with a specific product, try looking through the companies FAQs and Manuals. Google it. It looks like a plugin for Wordpress, so maybe study Wordpress. This place seems to have a section for it. https://wphelpforums.com/ It looks like a niche product that isn't overly popular, so I wish you luck. If you are trying to get into Web Design, look up what is used professionally and learn to code in it. Good luck. Will Dreamweaver be able to handle it sufficiently? 09-Nov-2022, 01:14 AM (This post was last modified: 09-Nov-2022, 01:16 AM by Pathfinder075.) I just mention Dreamweaver, because that's what they used at Uni, when I was there. But be aware this was 16 years ago. I have no clue what the industry standard package is nowadays. Back then it was Dreamweaver. But we often wrote code in an IDE like Netbeans or Eclipse or even Notepad. All webdesign is, is inputting code, which is then interpreted by something else. Whether its HTML5, PHP, Java, Python, Perl or any other interpreted web language. You write code, the interpreter or web browser displays it, etc. All Wordpress is, is a bunch of code running through PHP (or it was last time I looked). The plugin the OP wanted to learn was just that, a wordpress plugin. So if I was going to use it, i would go to the developers site, grab the package, look through the PHP calls and try and work out the ins and outs, then write a bunch of code examples and load them on to one of my dev servers and just play with it. It takes a reasonable amount of time to truly learn a new plugin, but practice makes perfect (just like flying a drone). Oh and FTR, when at Uni, we wouldn't have used a plugin. If we wanted that functionality, you would code it yourself. Not that I'm against using other peoples libraries. But if it's your code, you will understand it and it makes life massively easier when debugging it. Try Not, Do or Do Not - Yoda |
