A parcel arrived for me today by domestic mail. When I opened it I thought someone was playing a joke on me. Inside was a dummy plastic phone. It was only when I turned it over that all became clear. It certainly left me scratching my head with a confused look in my face for a few seconds LOL.

I guess these were probably drop shipped into the country in bulk by not-so-legal means and then the local distributor just stuck a label on the back and forwarded them on by domestic mail.

I'll put up another post in the near future showing what I need these for.

So you ordered a new plastic case for your beloved 1993 cell phone and they accidentally shipped you a bunch of lipos? Would it not be illegal to attempt to return the merchandise? It might be that you will end up being responsible to properly disposing of the unintentionally included contraband...bummer.

Pretty sure you are laughing about this, and not truly concerned, if you are, don't be.  I used to get some schedule IV meds for my mom, online from India, that she couldn't afford.  I got a letter one day from U.S. Customs, saying they intercepted a packaged I had ordered, they were going to hold it, yada yada yada.  Freaked me out for a bit, but after some research found that they send out thousands of those letters a month.  If I would have read the whole letter front n back I would have noticed it said, we believe this item to contain a banned import item according to sec.blah blah of the blah blah code, if you wish to dispute this claim you have 2weeks to contact us, after that item will be discarded.  Not to mention they're severely under-staffed, and I guess the vendor gets similar letter, because a week later got my mom's meds, with an apology about U.S. customs taking first shipment...lol.  I guess unless it's a suitcase stuffed with Tony Montona and Columbia's finest powder, they just send a harmless letter.
