This is my lightest build so far 212g AUW without battery.
DemonRC Fury Lite 5"
Holybro Kakute F4 V2 + Tekko32 4in1 ESC
Returner R4 2205 2700KV
Runcam Micro Swift + TX200 VTX
DAL T5051C props
The Fury frame isn't the most user friendly to work with, took me 5 hours to build this, much harder than it looks Currently writing a build log, i will explain the difficulties and detail later this week.

Then call it "dry weight" and not "all up weight"!
The term AUW includes the battery.

I think a 1000mah will be just the bare minimum to supply enough amps for 2700kv and would be super floaty and agile but 1300mah probably would be the sweet spot

You have inspired me. I went ahead a bought a ultralight frame. Will be using 20mm stack. 14xx or 15xx motors with light 5" props.
thanks guys for the correction English is not my first language, I don't even consider it my second language But hey, i try to learn and improve every day Dry weight it is then
From editing your blog Oscar, I can honestly say I have seen a great improvement in your English, between your early blog posts and more recent articles, great job!
I understand and speak a bit of Afrikaans, since it's very similar to the German I learned in school, but I still wouldn't call it a 2nd language, and I'm pretty sure that I speak more 'foreign' than the majority of Native English speakers! I actually speak better Afrikaans than quite a few of the English South Africans I meet too! (South Africa is still quite divided.) Zulu (or any of the other 13 official tribal languages that are spoken here) however, is a completely different story. There is no similarity with the Latin and Germanic standards I'm familiar with, which form the base of languages all across Europe. The direct translation from Zulu to English of "See you in the morning" is "Hello tomorrow." It's a funny place, this!
My lightest build so far: 169g dry weight with 2204/2700kV motors, HGLRC F428 Stack, Runcam Micro, Frsky XSR-M (will be replaced with a R-XSR: -1,6g ) receiver. Easily my fastest quad, beats even my 5,5" stretched racer with the Monster AmaxInno 2306 motors. Long flight times too; 8-12 minutes hovering with 1300mah/65C Graphene; more with a lighter battery; 3-4min VERY spirited flying on a 1000mAh 65C Graphene.
And it flies with a 32g 450mAh 3S nanotech battery; so 200g AUW is possible, a bit fun even..
P.S. A friend of mine even build a 150g dry-weight 5" racer also with 2204 motors (180x and smaller does not count for a 5" in my book, sorry... ) ) with a customer sandwich (Foam between top- and bottom carbon layer); that should be the technical limit right now - save for gluing instead of screwing your motors...

Will be ripping mine apart again: A friend of mine had some sandwich frames done: High density foam between two layers of 0,5mm high quality carbon: Frame weight 5" around 14g - so 150g 5" racer with real 220x motors is possible; Ultralight 5" racers with 140x or 180x motors don't count in my opinion: Everybody can build a 5" quad with 2" or 3" components - I would call that Ultraweak not Ultralight (Don't quote me on this, please... )

Yea i agree, 14XX and 18XX motors don't have the torque to run 5" props... they do fine on straight lines and do give you the top speed... but when it comes to cornering they are very sluggish due to the slow changing of RPM.
