The sun came out really neat, it adds to that flying in outer space/rings of saturn look. And the drone shadow makes it look like third person view. How did you get those colors...

There's a lot to take in with this effect. It's video effects/filters in VLC. Still working on the process, but I finally figured out how to 'export' a video from VLC that's had some effects/filters applied to it.

VLC save/export is kind of clunky, at least on my PC. Some things don't export correctly, video editors won't read the file, have to convert with another tool, but without audio (?). It's kind of an unnatural chain of tools and tasks.

It's a work in progress, for now. Until I can describe it better ... And I re-rendered video that was already rendered, so need to optimize that out.

Here's how you apply them to a video you're watching in VLC:

For some reason, you have to click on Negate colors twice (?)

Later, when exporting (or convert/save-ing) you have to select these two filters (gradient and invert) in one of the half dozen pull-down/pop-up menus.

Looking at the thumbnail I was expecting Beastie Boys - So What'Cha Want. Really cool effect though for a flight video.
