I'm gonna name this one "Clean Sanchez"  after a few crashes I will change name...

LOL Big Grin nice

I got exactly the same frame off myrcmart, for 7$ ... just haven^t FPV'd it yet as i didn't have a small enough camera.
Running tarot 1806, and cut off 5x4x3 to about 3.5". What props are you gonna use?

EDIT: Attached a pic just as reference, maybe it helps. You said 150, mine was described 148, i'm sure it's the same frame. I just couldn't find any 3.5" props to buy... Smile

I think I can only use 3 inch max on this frame. The camera I got from rmrc it was on clearance.

Showing love for the DYS! Are those 2300kv? I can do a quick thrust test on 3" tomorrow if you want.

Mount your motors upside down - this way it may fit 4". I have serious doubt that 2300kv will be any good to drive 3". I tried this on my cobras (on a full weight 5" mini) for fun and that was baaaad Big Grin

but...

if you have a spare 5" frame and are able to make it all superlight (and I see you can)... those motors will be a blast on 5040x3 props and a 4s pack. Believe me, tested Wink

If you can do a test that would be awesome.  I don't think anything bigger will fit on this frame.  the props are almost touching.  I had 1306 3000kv before but they motors got super hot when I ran 4s.

Oh... actually those are the exact props I have.  Got them on clearance from HobbyKing,  50 pairs for $6 lol.

I had rebuilt my thrust stand for this, but then I hurt my back and couldn't test. Sorry for a lame excuse, test has to wait for tomorrow....

Haha. All good. I guess I'll find out if it flies when the rx shows up.

Nice. Thanks Konrad. That should give me about 5:1 power to weight ratio I'm using 3045 gemfans BN. So it should fly

Yeah, it's better than I thought, should be flyable on 4s.

If it's not arctic weather outside when the rx gets here, I'll post a video.

I finally got the RX yesterday. I can confirm that it does hover quite nicely with the 1806 motors and 4S. I'm using 3 inch BN props.
