VTX won't connect to fattys and blue lights a flashin
#1
So my quads video feed goes grey during a flight and I have to "land". After I recover it I see that in my headset the video channels are "searching" but not staying put. Every once in a while I see a glimpse of the camera feed but then it jumps to next channel.

The vtx has 5 blue lights that light up one after the other in succession that repeat also.

So is my vtx trying to pair but not able?

Thank you for the help Big Grin

Have you tried manually set a frequency on your VTX?

I'm not really sure how to set the freq. I've tried short and long presses of the button on the vtx but nothing happens. Also the link I provided says the betafpv models use the VO1 VTX but mine has the button in a different spot sooo idk

One version has fixed power output. 25mW. Long press for band and short for channel.

For one with different power output. Long press 5sec for power. 2 sec press for band. And short for channel.

If pressing the button isn't doing anything, and you are still getting scrolling light, something is wrong as you stated. I actually don't know what it could be.

hmm..I think mine is a fixed 25mW and doesn't really respond to button presses. Just scrolls the blue lights and jumps channels in my goggles..

maybe it's bit the dust hm

Nice. With a bit of luck the new VTX and cam will fix your issue.

I hope you ordered the normal carbon version of the Marmotte frame and not the space grade version Big Grin

Ok lil update, I got the new vtx today and it works!
but found it wouldn't fit well.

I swapped out the wires to a more sturdy connector straight to the fc so it's now horizontal.
Plug n play now also.

Aside fom being a lil' ghetto whatcha think?
