I am going to add a Runcam Swift 2 to my eachine wizard and i have a couple of questions as the beginner i am...
First of all; can i supply the stock VTX directly from a 4s?
And second; i am also adding a LC filter in the process before the whole Video system. Can I collect the osd voltage sensor (vbat) after the lc filter and still get the correct value? Or should I collect it before the lc ?

20 hi Johnny, welcome to the forum. as for your question i'm not very familiar with that quad, but from looking at some of the details on BG. you should be ok without the LC filter. is there a reason why you are going to add one?

45 Unless you already have a poor image, I wouldn't bother. I've built a few and never had to add a filter. IMO most people that have problems with poor image is simply improper routing of vtx wires

15 and to answer the question "can you power directly from 4s to vtx":
ofcourse you can, in some cases you will just see it burned
not trolling any longer, check the specs on the vtx if it can handle the 4s input and add low esr cap to kill the spikes. this should get you going.
All the best

0 Thanks for the answer guys.
I know the image is of poor quality vs a HD camera but its fun to have something to do.
I have this idea of making the video system attatched to the top plate and it splits of directly from the incoming powersupply. Creating some space from all other electronics.
The vtx have a operating voltage from 7-27v so i guess it should not be a problem vid a 4s battery.
I have orderd a LC filter from bg, what is the diffrence from a low esr CAP and a LC filter?
Could you maby link a low esr CAP?

15 27v should be good as long as you will kill the spikes using filter or capacitator.
there are known esc that generate a lot of noise and jumps of V are quite high sometimes they fried the VTX/Cameras as they were fragile equirement

0 Thanks. Will try adding a LC filter and se what happends.
Also, if you guys can help me,
Is there a switch or similair in BLheli suite you active for multishot or is it the whole software that is adapted for multishot?
Havent found a guide whos abit up to date.
Im thinking of updating to betaflight 3.1 and The esc to most recent with multishot.

Just make sure to power it from 12V because the capacitor is rated at 16 V
