Hello everyone,

First of all sorry if I'm doing something wrong I just created my account here.

I have two different drones setups, and I get trouble with one of these
I bought, about a year ago, the Novice-IV pre build pack from Eachine.
Everythings was working fine until last saturday, I was flying at yard and suddendly I lost the video from vtx.
First I thought it was the goggles after reach home again, I test my second drone and got some video from it.
After it I start to looking at the vtx (Ovx 306) I never paid attention on how it was working before about the LED colors, but its displayed a red constant LED up.
So I reflashed the ovx (https://openvtx.org/). After reflashed got different LEDs colors (green, red and blue) As I read about it shows me the band and channel.
Did the entire configuration again in BF and after change bands and channels I still stuck without video on this specific drone. Its works normal without video, so I discarding FC problems.

Any ideas or what more information I can give you guys?

PS: Since I pass through all it, I already bought new ovx306 board and waiting for delivery but I don't think it was the problem

If you want to start troubleshooting, the first thing I would do is wire the camera output signal (yellow 3 pin port) into the video in on the 5 pin port. You should be able to just take the single wire out of the connector by lifting the tap on the JST connector. This way, you are bypassing the FC. If you get video, then the OSD chip on the FC is likely bad. If you still do not get video, then it is either the camera or the VTX. Why don't you do this first and see what is the result.

I dont know if it will help a little more, but since I reflashed the vtx I was reading OpenVTX github and I realize I got an LED error code like the github says

Quote:RTC6705 not detected - 1s on to indicate start of the error code, followed by 3 quick flashes

But I didnt understand what that means
I uploaded a private video to yt to try to simplify

I am not quite sure what that error is. Maybe the RTC6705 chip is not being detected? The RTC6705 is the main chip for the VTX. it might be bad.

Im sorry I took a long time to answer that, but the new vtx got some delay to be delivered.

I just swap the new vtx with the old one and everything start works fine again!
Answering voodoo last supposition, I think I can confirm it was the chip of the old VTX.

Now the only problem I got its about connecting the drone into BF but its about another topic and no right here
