11 With this particular quad, goggle image comes through black and white, offset down and right, and with jumbled triangles on the right side of the image. It usually resolves quickly, but no always and is unpredictable.
Video of issue on plug-in.
In this example it resolved quickly, but I have had times where the video does not resolve even as I fly around. Un-plugging and re-plugging sometimes makes the image come through clean right away, other times it seems random when the image decides to lock in to normal.
It's not a real big problem for me, but wanted thoughts so I know what I'm dealing with.
Thanks!

11 Location doesn't seem to matter and I don't get the same thing from other quads, so I'm pretty sure it's something with the quad, maybe a setting on the vtx. I should probably check vtx power, perhaps it's on it's lowest setting and that's causing a slow or inconsistent connection?

11 That's distinctly possible, it's a very compact build, I'll open it up and take a look.

1 I've had this too.... You can also try and ground your VTX & camera to the same pad. And if that doesn't help, they sell cheap BECs that turn 25V into 5V... which that coupled with grounding it all together cleans things up a lot.

11 It seems like cycling the channel on my analog module fixes the signal consistently. I have to change from the correct channel to the wrong channel, and then back again and the video is normal.
Now I just need to tune this quad, it's a bear to fly.

1 That's a bit strange -- make sure you've got the quad set to a specific channel like R 1-8 -- and then tune to that on the receiver. That should help you hit the right frequency every time.
