I've been asking some of you (especially Oscar) while building my first FPV build (flying LOS since last year). I'll post many videos of my learning curve here and on my youtube. I have around 70h in LiftOff. My PID is not really set yet. zmr180 Kingkong motor 2205 2300kv DalProps 4045 bullnose SN20A BlHeli escs Flip32 Sony Had camera 2.1mm lens Here's my 2 first DVR FPV Video, feel free to subcribe and comments @ 8th Pack @ 16th Pack http://drones-xp.blogspot.ca/ Posts: 918 Threads: 83 Likes Received: 533 in 271 posts Likes Given: 498 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 30 Nothing wrong with any of that flying. I would expect solid video withint 500m line of sight... even for 200mW... Yep, my signal is weak. It's not my receiver, another friend with fatshark get the same weak glitch. I figuredout that my VTX antenna was too low, too close of the battery. Raised it helped a lot. But I have a second problem, behind a little, less leaves trees, it glitch a lot. I have aomway 200mw with Boscam antenna. On reddit some are talking about channel, maybe switching channel could help. • Posts: 947 Threads: 66 Likes Received: 350 in 248 posts Likes Given: 164 Joined: Apr 2016 Reputation: 34 28-Jun-2016, 07:46 PM (This post was last modified: 28-Jun-2016, 07:47 PM by oyvinla.) Check that you are using the correct antenna plug. The Aomway has a SMA-female, while the Boscam is RP-SMA male if I remember correctly. Check if there is any tip in the Boscam connector or the Aomway VTX. if not, then I guess that is your problem • Posts: 71 Threads: 18 Likes Received: 30 in 15 posts Likes Given: 43 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 6 12-Jul-2016, 05:36 PM (This post was last modified: 12-Jul-2016, 05:41 PM by daprato.) I've start this thread about "pack after pack" videos progression. Sadly couple of weeks ago I lost my ZMR180 This morning I just finished my DIY FPV 210 frame, was really long designing the whole sh.t and cutting it (low rate because DIY CNC). I did it myself simply because it's fun to build stuff. Also because more I'll fly, more I'll be tempted to record with a decent sport cam my flights. I tried to lower the HD cam mount instead of having it at the highest point getting all crash. So I decided to put the Lipo underneeth and back my fake-of-fake-gopro to the lowest place possible. The back carriage is at 22mm. Front Runcam Swift mount is standard 35mm height. More to come, Frame Breakdown details and build log. Follow me on my BLOG Follow me on Instagram ! But they will allow less air flow, in my case I prefer solid to try stunts. If something has to break it will be the center plate, little bit week with 2mm 3k. But the whole thing is packed with 8 standoff, it helps. Posts: 71 Threads: 18 Likes Received: 30 in 15 posts Likes Given: 43 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 6 tight space build on going... Posts: 71 Threads: 18 Likes Received: 30 in 15 posts Likes Given: 43 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 6 I flew 7 pack yesterday and it was reallllllly nice! But my frame is a little bit heavy (125g with all fastener and sport-cam mount). 2 to 3 minutes of flying for 4S 1300mAh (nano-tech or Bonka). LiPo got warm, warmer than on a small lightweight ZMR180 for sure. I mounted a wood block to simulate the 60g of my fake-SJCam, yes a fake SJCam, lol. Will HD footage when I'll be more confortable. • Posts: 146 Threads: 10 Likes Received: 37 in 24 posts Likes Given: 15 Joined: Apr 2016 Reputation: 4 That's bad ass!! Arround end of september, leaves and vegetation will die, I'll maybe find it back. That's a small edit, the price of leaving the noob area. Starting really to have fun. Addddddicktive ! I'm at around 60 packs flown here.
