Video transmitter and receivers channels and bands

Exclamation
Hello everyone,

I want to make an fpv and acro mode mod to my old good H8 mini quad.
I have Quannum v2 Pro and RC832 40CH Reciever (with Aomway cloverleaf antenna) and want to use this little 25mW Camera VTX 32CH Combo  but it has only 32 Channels.

What I found is RC832 can receive this frequencies:

and the Camer VTX combo transmit this:

And as I see the frequencies don't cover cach other. So it won't work together? I'm confused because earlier when I knew much less that kind of questions didn't bother me Smile and I bought exactly this TS5828 transmiter and now I see this is also 32CH but when I go "D4" or "44" on RC832 and TS5828 everything works flawlessly.

Will this Camera VTX 32CH Combo work with my RC832 40CH reciever? I have to worry only about right Group and channel or also on that 5925, 5245, 5398 numbers on both devices?

Yes it will work. You don't have to worry about the frequency group (A, B, C and so on) the only thing you have to make sure is that you choose the same frequency on both of them. If you choose A1 (5740) on your vtx, you will have to choose F1 on your receiver and so on

channel names will not match, look at the frequencies and adjust, it will work,
exapmle FR4 chan 1 5740 vs group 1 ch 1 5740 - boom it will work Smile
on some channels you will not have coverage but don't worry abut it, look for freq that is nearest to your antena length if you are making customs, if not select frequency that is most centered
All the best
