0 I've been putting together a new build (chameleon frame, BFF3 FC, ipeaka ESCs, redbottoms, foxeer 25/200/600 vtx, Runcam swift) and am getting horrible interference in the video feed when the motors spin up. To a point where you can't see through the osd "snow".
Now before you say it, I have googled it.
I have all my video components wired to the AGND and RAM (12v) pads, which I believe are supposed to be filtered.
Now I haven't tried adding a cap to the battery lead but I didn't believe I would need to, having filters already built into the board. Also, the interference is that bad that I don't think the cap would do a whole lot. (correct me if I'm wrong).
The interference is the worst I have ever seen, not even remotely flyable.
Has anybody else experienced something similar with this board?

1. validate grounds are not making a loop (everything should be connected to one point)
<- 2.

388 When wiring your caps, make sure you use something like a 16awg wire and solder the connection as close to the base of the caps. The Raceflight guys show that you will not get the maximum ESR benefits if you solder the wire further away from the base.
I also use a mini voltage regulator.
Just because the voltage is filtered, it doesn't mean that the voltage is not subject to voltage spikes.

388 Ground has not voltage. Everything will eventually go back to the source (lipo) regardless of voltage.

4 The set up you describe should work as is. Caps and filters are not necessary. They do help clean up the feed but aren’t required for it all to work. If you have another vtx try it. If not when I run into these issues it sometimes helps to take it apart and resolder.

388 Randomly darker image can be a camera issue or camera settings issue. The camera not dealing with the changes in light/dark transition fast enough. I would check your settings under Exposure. Make sure DWDR is on and Shutter auto.
Jelloing could be excessive oscillations or vibration in your quad or poorly mounted camera.
Depending on the amount of rolling color lines, it could just be normal. Can you post video of your feed?
Some ghosting of OSD is normal.
