In your opinion what is the best video converter app (.avi->.mp4 in particular) and video editor app for when Im on the go?

DVR mod done last night to my goggles. But my "so called action cam from xmas a couple years back) records in only .avi

hmmm... this would be interesting to know... I am using Vegas Movie Studio just because I've been using Acid since the Sonic Foundry days so the software is familiar to me.

I'd like to see something mobile though, I'd give it a try if it was affordable!

Most of the apps are free
I really like Videoshop for a mobile editor. But getting my .avi files to convert nicely to .mp4 has been more difficult.

Note: dont use the Vidcon converter. In order to keep original quality you have to buy the "pro" version ($3.22usd) cheap which is nice but every "pro" option causes convertion to fail lmao. I got a refund. They got a piece of my mind

I'd be OK with a pro version of software. I like to support developers... but I would expect pro quality.

I'd be willing to pay as much as 30-40 bucks for good mobile editing software on my tablet that handled all the major file types... but it'd need to be actual pro software made by a company with support staff and ongoing development including free upgrades for the life of the software.

Found one app that does it all called AndroVid! Handles the converting and all the editing. So far I am impressed and its 100% free even!

I am downloading as well.

It does have a pro edition too it seems but I havent needed those effects yet. Ill probly buy anyway just to support.
