VersusQuad Core Special Edition
#1
Presentation
It is with great pleasure that I had the opportunity to test an extra machine French manufacturing, ultra light, strong and more attractive than ... .The VersusQuad Core Special Edition
The frame comes in a simple and neat packaging. The different elements are very well protected between 2 layers of foam. My first reaction on receiving the parcel: oulah ... it's light, there's something in there?
Relief ... ..The beast is beautiful and there!

And what she is beautiful !!

Upon opening the package and the chassis grip, it feels directly and see the excellent quality of carbon, precision cuts, and no presence of dust due to the cut (it's a detail but for me is important, it shows the seriousness and professionalism of the manufacturer that wishes to provide a quality product to future purchasers).

Specifications
  • Chassis X 210mm screen (exactly 207mm) for the 5-inch

  • 3K carbon 4mm thick for the botom and 1.5mm for the top plate

  • Front and rear reinforcements 1mm

  • fpv camera supports 1mm thick

  • Fasteners m3 titanium

  • aluminum spacers

  • weight: 70 grams !!! I told you it was light!

Audit, the 10th of a gram.

Equipment selected for mounting I opted for this setup to use the machine primarily in freestyle, and I am more than satisfied with the result!
Namely, the aforementioned setup perfectly supports the 5s [Image: 1f600.svg]

Given the low weight of the frame, the final weight is very interesting.

The flight
You can imagine what can give this magnificent quad supercharged with so little weight !!
I especially like the X configurations so for once I was filled.
Especially with reduced weight and power available, it's a real treat! When some soft freestyle flights I easily hold 4 minutes with the 1300mAh 4s.
I also tested all in 5s ... ..and there ...... Ouahhhh, it grows very strong, and it sings just as strong, the pleasure is such that there by against the lipos do not take 2 minutes so we like to hear the screams of the machine.
Video (in 4s)

Conclusion
Whether unpacking, assembly, or in flight, I was really seduced by this core If Versus!
What more, a machine that throws, that is resistant, hard drives, which has excellent behavior ... In short you will understand, for me there is no hesitation! And especially since the price is very right!
I also had contact with the team VersusQuad which is also very friendly, and since I still appreciate more professionalism.
A great success !!
Thank you for allowing me to do this review, thank you all for reading,
Enjoy the flights everyone,
Redeos.

I'm all for light weight, but won't the arms just snap off in the first crash?

There's remarkably little carbon fibre in the centre of the main plate. Any hard twisting or bending force, like a crash where one arm hits the ground first, is surely going to break the frame. Or did I miss something in the construction that will distribute the force of the impact? Titanium screws will only make things worse as while titanium is light and very hard, it's also very brittle.
