24 I am staying on a farm with a few houses on it, one of my neighbours asked if I am 'flying a drone,' and she started to rant about how they are causing airplane crashes and how dangerous they are, before I had even had a chance to answer! So I showed her my (75mm sub 50gram) Tiny7 which looks like a 'minion' and explained why it's a Flone and not a drone, then she was making noises like I had just shown her a kitten. "Oh what a cute little Floney!"

lol!!!! that's awesome
One of the most common comments that I get when I show someone one of my mini-quads is "Wow, it's much smaller than I expected" (I fly mostly 5" setups). It's fun to then tell them that it flys somewhere between 60-90 MPH and the next comment is "wow, that's fast!"
I need to have someone clock the speed of one of my quads, they're definitely pretty quick but I've been quoting loose numbers for a while now (sometimes inflated TBH) :p
These days what I tell people is "I fly RC Quadcopters... you know, like 'drones' but mine is a race quad"... this seems to work best because they get the picture and get a feel for the fact that I do not think of my equipment as "drones"... of course this sparks the question of "you mean they race those things now? Do you race yours!?" etc etc.

34 I am usually spying on people by looking through their windows with my 5 inch racing drone. If they are stupid enough to open the window, I just fly through their house and trim their plants with my props

I have gotten pretty good at hovering these days... I could probably manage this if I lowered my camera angle. Perhaps its time to start spying too! I mean... so that I can fit the stereotype and all...
