upgrading FPV camera
#1
I am thinking to get a better fpv camera. I like racing and freestyle acrobatic flying.

I'm deciding on either the FatSharks Pilot HD, the HS1177M, or any other cameras you might suggest?

Which cameras do you guys prefer and why?

Runcam PZ0420M is probably the best all around camera I'd say. A little larger than HS1177 but has great settings out of the box, has nice thick connector cables that are not prone to breaking

I use the hs1177, 2.8 lens, IR blocked. Great camera for tight builds. you can order it with the plug on top or bottom.
Components split to 2 boards, connected by a ribbon cable
If you're careful, you can unscrew the back board, and put the lens thread directly on the front board (as a normal size board cam is set up) and flip the back board either horizontal, or in a trianle, and hot glue at desired angle
I love to share and help people! Flying Mini Quad is the best!

I use both.
A PZ0420 IR blocked and swapped it out for an HS1177 (needed a smaller one for the frame).
I really like both. Had some problems with the settings on my PZ0420 but got it dailed in.
Sky is where the fun begins!

I have quad with the HS1177 and another with the Runcam PZ0420M. Runcam takes the win in picture quality.

I use both the HS1177 and the Runcam Skyplus (which is a PZ0420 in a alloy case). Both excellent FPV cams.
