Upgrade motor options
#1
So I've out grown my DYS BE1806 2300KV motors which were originally designed for just 3s but they operate over 4s fine it's just I need something with a little more punch and precision now

What would be a great upgrade to replace these on a 5" 4s weight around 350g without lipo

I would probably take a hard look at the EMAX ECO II motors. A lot of people are raving about them and for the price I don't think you can really go wrong. Apparently EMAX are selling them at a break-even price and aren't making much (or any) profit on them. I don't know why they would do that but it explains the ridiculously low price for what seems to be a decent motor.

Wow those emax eco II motors are really cheap and get great reviews. Thanks for that info.

Personally I would go the Emax ECO II 2306 2400kv motors for 4s and 5s batteries. They will be awesome.

The following shows the specs of them with different props and batteries.
